Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Team Lead to join our EdTech sales team. In the initial 2–3 months, you will work individually to achieve enrollment targets, showcasing your sales capability and product knowledge. Upon proving strong performance, you will be assigned to lead a team of 6–8 Academic Counselors, where you will manage both individual and team targets. You will be responsible for planning, distributing, and collectively achieving the team's overall numbers.
Key Responsibilities:
· Achieve individual enrollment targets during the first 2–3 months of joining.
· After successful performance, lead, train, and mentor a team of 6–8 Academic Counselors.
· Handle your own sales targets alongside team targets.
· Strategically distribute targets within the team while contributing to overall performance.
· Drive high-volume outbound calling and ensure team members achieve set KPIs (250–300 calls per counselor per day).
· Support counselors in student counseling and closing enrollments for UG/PG/Certificate programs.
· Monitor lead management, call outcomes, and follow-ups using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Lead Squared).
· Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and help address skill gaps.
· Motivate the team through recognition, contests, and sales drives.
· Collaborate with management to set strategies for maximizing revenue.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in any field (MBA preferred).
· 2–4 years of proven sales experience, with at least 1 year in a team lead/supervisory role (preferably in EdTech or Inside Sales).
· Strong track record of individual performance and sales achievements.
