Role & responsibilities

  1. Develop, manage and promote Medical Tourism eco-system in Telangana
  2. Operationalize and position Telangana Medical Tourism Society (TGMTS) as a One-Stop Centre for promotion, development, facilitation and networking in Medical Value Travel (MVT) sector in the State
  3. Oversee creation and operation of digital platforms for outreach and seamless service
  4. Coordinate with stakeholders (Ministries of Health, Tourism, External Affairs etc) and implement strategies to position State as a preferred Global Medical Tourism destination

Success Metrics

  1. Portal creation; on-boarding customers and all service providers; operationalizing the portal for smooth and transparent operations
  2. Sales & marketing. Increase share of medical tourism clients from HNI customers from USA, UK, Europe and such high category customers
  3. Work with Government Ministries for continuous improvement of ease of medical tourism
  4. Build metrics to upgrade ethical delivery of medical service through "ranked" service providers
  5. P&L accountabilities

Preferred candidate profile

  1. Any Graduate
  2. MBA in Hospital Management
  3. 35-to-45
  4. Equal Opportunity
  5. Proficiency in Telugu not compulsory
  6. should have built connections with top hospitals and physicians and a proven ability to build relationships with international patient markets (e.g., Middle East, Africa, South-East Asia, USA, UK, Europe etc)
  7. should have developed and executed Global growth strategy, market entry, cross-border operations, and building international referral networks
  8. should have managed a P&L and optimizing complex, multi-faceted operations (e.g., patient logistics, language interpretation, visa assistance, travel, and post care follow-up)
  9. should have managed sales, marketing, and logistics experience in the medical tourism sector
