Role & responsibilities

  1. Keyword Research & Competitor Analysis

  2. Conduct comprehensive keyword research to identify high-traffic, relevant keywords.

  3. Analyze competitors to uncover new opportunities for content and backlinks.

  4. On-Page SEO Optimization

  5. Optimize website content, meta titles, descriptions, headers, and tags for improved rankings.

  6. Ensure proper keyword placement, internal linking, and image optimization.

  7. Conduct website audits and implement necessary technical SEO improvements.

  8. Off-Page SEO & Link Building

  9. Design and execute effective link-building strategies to increase domain authority.

  10. Perform outreach to authoritative blogs, directories, and websites for quality backlinks.

  11. Monitor and maintain a clean, penalty-free backlink profile.

  12. Content Optimization

  13. Work with the content team to develop SEO-friendly articles and blogs.

  14. Ensure all content aligns with targeted keywords and audience intent.

  15. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  16. Use tools like Google Analytics and Search Console to track traffic, rankings, and conversions.

  17. Prepare detailed performance reports and offer actionable recommendations.

  18. Stay up-to-date with algorithm updates to refine SEO strategies proactively.

  19. Technical SEO

  20. Enhance website speed, mobile-friendliness, and overall crawlability.

  21. Resolve technical issues related to site structure, duplicate content, and broken links.
  22. Ensure the website complies with search engine guidelines and best practices.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Proficiency with SEO tools.
  • Solid understanding of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and ranking factors.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms such as WordPress.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to stay updated with SEO trends and algorithm changes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.
  • Certification in SEO, Google Analytics, or Digital Marketing.
  • Experience with paid search campaigns (PPC) is an added advantage.
