Job Title: Azure Data EngineerLocation: RemoteExperience: 5+ YearsJob Type: ContractualAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer with deep expertise in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and exposure to Azure Data Fabric. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing and migrating large-scale data pipelines, handling unstructured data, and building solutions optimized for GenAI applications. You will play a key role in modernizing and scaling our data ecosystem to meet enterprise-grade performance and AI/ML integration needs.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess existing Azure Data Factory + Databricks architecture and design a detailed migration plan to Azure Data Fabric.Design, implement, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, storage, and analytics.Work with large-scale unstructured data and support production pipelines processing 10,000+ file injections.Build and manage multi-model data ingestion workflows, leveraging OCR capabilities where applicable.Ensure seamless data integration from SharePoint and other sources into Azure Data Fabric with high data quality.Collaborate with stakeholders to align data strategies with GenAI and ML workloads.Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices within Azure environments.Conduct performance tuning and optimization for high-availability and cost-effective pipelines.Required Skills & Qualifications5+ years of experience in Azure Data Engineering.Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory and Azure Databricks (Must Have).Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience with Azure Data Fabric OR at least one successful migration project.Proven experience handling unstructured data at scale.Experience in multi-model ingestion pipelines and managing large-scale file injections (>10,000 files).Strong proficiency in Spark, SQL, and data transformation techniques within Azure.Understanding of GenAI data processing flows and ability to design data environments for AI/ML.Knowledge of data governance, access controls, and compliance standards in cloud platforms.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect) preferred.Good to HaveExperience with OCR pipeline development.Familiarity with Azure Data Fabric real-time analytics capabilities.Prior involvement in AI/ML data architecture projects.Why Join Us?Lead impactful cloud data migration and modernization projects.Work on cutting-edge GenAI and ML-driven pipelines.Collaborative team environment with strong ownership culture.Competitive compensation and benefits.Job Type: Contractual / TemporaryContract length: 3 monthsPay: ₹960, ₹1,080,000.00 per yearEducation:Bachelor's (Required)Experience:Azure: 5 years (Required)SQL : 5 years (Required)AI: 5 years (Required)ML: 5 years (Required)Work Location: Remote
