Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement robust data pipelines on Azure for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and delivery to Gen AI/LLM models.
- Develop and train Gen AI/LLM models using Azure Machine Learning services like Azure Databricks and Azure ML.
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of Gen AI/LLM models, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to ensure models align with business needs.
- Stay current on the latest advancements in Gen AI/LLM research and development.
- Document and present findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with Azure Machine Learning services (Azure Databricks, Azure ML, Azure Data factory, Azure webapp services, and Azure AI services).
- Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions (Azure Data Lake Storage, Blob storage, Azure SQL).
- Experience with model interpretability and fairness considerations.

Qualifications:

- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing data pipelines on cloud platforms (Azure).
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning fundamentals and experience with deep learning frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI concepts and experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python and familiarity with tools like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
