Job Title: Assistant Professor Finance

Job Summary

The Assistant Professor Finance is responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate students in finance-related subjects, conducting research, contributing to curriculum development, and supporting academic and institutional activities. The role requires strong conceptual knowledge in finance, effective teaching skills, and a commitment to academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Academic Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Finance as assigned.
  • Prepare course outlines, lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments.
  • Deliver lectures, case studies, seminars, and practical sessions effectively.
  • Evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, projects, and presentations.
  • Mentor and guide students for academic progress and career development.

Curriculum & Academic Development

  • Contribute to curriculum design and syllabus updates in line with university/industry standards.
  • Develop innovative teaching methodologies including case-based and experiential learning.
  • Integrate financial tools, software, and real-world applications into teaching.
  • Support accreditation, academic audits, and quality assurance processes.

Research & Publications

  • Conduct research in the area of Finance and related domains.
  • Publish research papers in reputed journals and conferences.
  • Participate in Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), workshops, and seminars.
  • Apply for research grants and funded projects where applicable.

    OR
  • Ph.D. in Finance / Management / Commerce (preferred).
  • Teaching or research experience is desirable.
  • Freshers with strong academic credentials may be considered as per norms.
