Job Description:

The Business Intelligence Consultant I will play a key role in analyzing data to support strategic decision-making across the organization. This position involves gathering data requirements, designing data models, creating dashboards, and generating reports to provide insights that drive business performance. The consultant will collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and ensure that analytics solutions align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in gathering and analyzing business requirements for data and reporting needs.

- Design and develop data models that meet business specifications.

- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations using BI tools.

- Generate reports to track key performance indicators and trends in business performance.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement through data analysis.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.

- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and analytics.

Skills and Tools Required:

- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

- Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders.

- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.

- Basic understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
