Assistant Facilities Manager – Soft ServicesWhat this job involves:As an Assistant Facilities Manager – Soft Services at JLL, you'll play a vital role in creating exceptional workplace experiences that collectively shape a brighter way for our clients and their employees. This position focuses on managing and optimizing soft service operations including housekeeping, catering, security, landscaping, and administrative support services that enable teams to thrive in well-maintained, productive environments. You'll work collaboratively with vendor partners, internal stakeholders, and facility management teams to ensure service excellence while embracing innovative ways of working that enhance operational efficiency. The role requires a people-focused approach, supporting wellbeing and championing inclusivity across diverse service teams while maintaining the highest standards of facility operations. You'll contribute to our culture of collaboration by coordinating seamlessly between various service providers and client teams, taking the more inspiring and optimistic path toward delivering comprehensive soft services that strengthen workplace experiences and advance both client satisfaction and career development opportunities within the facilities management sector.What your day-to-day will look like:• Oversee daily soft services operations including housekeeping, catering, security, and landscaping services across assigned facilities • Manage vendor relationships and service contracts while monitoring performance against established SLAs and quality standards • Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure seamless delivery of administrative support services and special event requirements • Conduct regular facility inspections and quality audits to maintain exceptional standards across all soft service areas • Lead vendor performance reviews, resolve service issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives • Support budget management activities including cost optimization, invoice processing, and expense tracking for soft services • Develop and maintain comprehensive service documentation, reporting systems, and compliance tracking processesRequired qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, or related field • 4-6 years of experience in facilities management with specific focus on soft services operations • Strong vendor management skills with proven ability to coordinate multiple service providers simultaneously • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing diverse stakeholder relationships • Knowledge of facility management best practices, health and safety regulations, and service quality standards • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facilities management software systemsPreferred qualifications:• Professional certification in facilities management (CFM, FMP, or similar credential) • Experience with integrated workplace management systems (IWMS) and service request platforms • Background in contract negotiation and vendor performance management within commercial real estate environments • Knowledge of sustainability practices and green building operations for soft services • Previous experience managing soft services in multi-tenant or corporate office environments • Demonstrated experience in budget management and cost optimization for facilities operationsLocation: On-site –Bengaluru, KAScheduled Weekly Hours:48If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet all of the requirements.
