Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Scientist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical background, advanced problem-solving abilities, and a passion for leveraging data to drive business insights and decisions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges, develop models, and communicate findings effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Modeling:

  • Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights.

  • Develop predictive models (Regression Models, Decision Trees etc ) and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems. Implement Segmentation models on the marketing database.

  • Apply statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data.  Analyze data, Develop Segmentation Models, and Summarize results via reports.

  • This includes response analyses from Marketing campaigns, List Rental Models, and Other data development models.

  • Perform Univariate/Bivariate analysis, Exploratory Data Analysis to find out patterns in data

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements.

  • Translate complex technical findings into actionable recommendations for non-technical audiences.

  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement data-driven solutions.

Data Management and Cleaning:

  • Ensure data integrity and quality by performing data cleaning and preprocessing.

  • Maintain and optimize data pipelines and workflows.

  • Manage data storage and retrieval systems.

Tools and Technologies:

  • Utilize programming languages such as Python, SQL, etc., for data analysis and modeling.

  • Knowledge in SAS, SPSS, SAP – Infinite Insights / Predictive Analytics, SAP – HANA  and other statistical software package.

  • Use data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar to present findings.

Research and Innovation:

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning.

  • Experiment with new tools, techniques, and methodologies to improve existing processes.

  • Contribute to the development of best practices and standards within the data science team.

  • Basic Knowledge of Direct Marketing and e-commerce business applications.

Mandatory Skills:

Python, SQL, Statistics & Probability, Machine Learning, Data Visualization Tools

Designation: Senior Analyst

Working Hours:  1 PM to 10 PM

Work Location: Bengaluru
