Job Summary:
The role would entail designing interactive surveys, which involves scripting the survey, customizing and validating the responses. He/she will be responsible for programming the surveys under the supervision of a senior programmer and working closely with and assisting, the Consumer Insight and Strategy team in Bangalore and the US.

Primary responsibilities:
Flawlessly execute and deliver online market research surveys using survey platform Decipher. Make decisions to do what is right for survey respondents and our stakeholders. Must be driven to ensure that the final product provided to our stakeholders is of the highest quality.

Responsibilities of a Survey Programmer includes:

• Reviewing survey questionnaires for quality, compliance, and best practices
• Accurately assessing the likely survey length based on the questionnaire from the stakeholder and suggesting effective ways of reducing overall length and survey fatigue
• Programming surveys into survey platforms like Decipher (Preferred), ConfirmIT, Qualtrics, Nebu etc.
• Testing surveys to ensure all programming instructions, logic, flow have been implemented
• Downloading, Checking and Formatting Interim and Final data for review and delivery in different formats
• Working with third- party programming platforms on technical set- up, review, and testing
• Crisp Communication with stakeholders and work as an interface between team members and stakeholder counterpart
• Assist the supervisor in tasks / assignments like developing / executing new procedures / processes, diagnosis of problem / stakeholder issues, etc.

Mandatory Skills:

• Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a quantitative discipline, plus a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in survey scripting, data analytics, market research, customer knowledge, or consulting
• Experience using at least one online survey platform (Confirmit, Qualtrics, Decipher)
• Experience with programming languages and/ or web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery)
• Excellent Excel skills (Lookup formulas, functions, macros, pivots and advanced formulas); Must be able to develop complex applications and models in Excel
• Ability to build effective relationships
• Highly detail oriented, strong commitment to timely execution of tasks
• Passionate about survey scripting and high-quality deliverables

Good to Have:

• Good English communication skills
• Experience of generating Macros, defining and capturing key analytics and creating dashboards, simulators, and reports is a plus
• Able to integrate VBA coding in Excel to provide sophisticated manipulation and application automation is a strong plus
