As a Snowflake Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Snowflake data warehousing solutions for our organization. You will play a critical role in ensuring the performance, scalability, and reliability of our data infrastructure.
- Design and implement Snowflake data warehousing solutions based on business requirements and best practices.
- Create and maintain data models, schemas, tables, and views in Snowflake.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
- Work closely with data engineers and architects to ensure seamless integration of data sources into Snowflake.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve data quality and performance issues.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Snowflake clusters and query execution.
- Implement and enforce security measures to protect sensitive data stored in Snowflake.
- Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features, enhancements, and best practices, and evaluate their potential impact on our data infrastructure.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members on Snowflake-related tasks and issues.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of data integration and ETL tools that integrate with Snowflake.
- Document technical specifications, processes, and procedures related to Snowflake implementation and administration.
