Role & responsibilities

  1. Team Leadership and Development:

  2. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of bench sales recruiters to drive performance and achieve sourcing targets.

  3. Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  4. Ensure the team is meeting the recruitment and sourcing KPIs for bench candidates.

  5. Bench Sales Sourcing and Recruitment:

  6. Manage the process of identifying and sourcing potential candidates from the bench pool (current employees on the bench) and other relevant sources.

  7. Source candidates from multiple channels, including job boards, LinkedIn, and other recruitment platforms.
  8. Work closely with Account Managers, Project Managers, and the Recruiting team to understand bench requirements and skillset needs.

  9. Client Engagement and Communication:

  10. Maintain strong communication with clients to understand their staffing requirements.

  11. Facilitate the placement of bench resources with clients, ensuring that candidates are matched with the right opportunities.
  12. Negotiate contract terms, pay rates, and employment agreements with clients.

  13. Market Research and Industry Awareness:

  14. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to ensure the company is competitive in bench sales strategies.

  15. Develop a deep understanding of the skills and technologies in demand to improve candidate positions.

  16. Reporting and Analytics:

  17. Provide regular status reports on bench sales activities, including candidate sourcing, client placement status, and team performance.

  18. Analyze team performance data to identify areas of improvement and implement effective strategies.

  19. Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution:

  20. Address any issues or challenges related to candidate sourcing, client relations, or team performance.

  21. Ensure effective resolution of conflicts and escalations in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 0-5 years of experience in bench sales/recruiting within the IT staffing industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in managing and motivating a team to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the IT staffing industry, specifically in sourcing bench candidates, and knowledge of emerging technologies.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, candidates, and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex issues.
  • Tools & Technologies: Proficient in using LinkedIn, job boards, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other recruitment tools.
  • Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Shift Flexibility: Ability to work the night shift (7:30 PM to 4:30 AM) as per business needs.
