Working Days: Monday to Friday, and 2nd & 4th Saturdays

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our daily accounting and finance operations. This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a strong career foundation in finance within a dynamic and educational environment.

Experience & Qualification

  • Experience: 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred
  • Education: Graduate in Commerce or a related field
  • Gender: Open to all

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare Quotations, Work Orders, Proforma Invoices, and Tax Invoices.
  • Prepare and issue student fee receipts and follow up with students/parents regarding pending payments.
  • Coordinate with vendors for payments.
  • Prepare Cheques, NEFT, and RTGS transactions.
  • Maintain accurate day-to-day accounting records (Sales, Receipts, Journal, Payments, and Expenses) in Tally.
  • Reconcile bank statements, prepare Cash and Cheque Vouchers, and record Cash Entries.
  • Record and track Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing for all statutory obligations.

Statutory Compliance Responsibilities

  • Working knowledge of GST (GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B).
  • Understanding of TDS (Sections and applicable deduction limits).
  • Assist in ensuring timely and accurate filing of statutory returns.

Other Duties

  • Provide support to the Senior Accountant and the Finance Team as needed.
  • Assist in audits, financial reporting, and internal documentation.

Skills & Attributes

  • Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines effectively.
