Sales Development Representative (Field Sales)

Social Axis is looking for several talented Sales Development Representatives who have the ability to produce sales appointments by outbound prospecting via Cold Email, Social Media, and Phone.

About the Position:

As a Sales Development Representative you will have an opportunity to be a key strategic contributor -- Bringing your intense work ethic and desire to make an immediate impact. You will gain invaluable experience, and have the chance to showcase your acquired knowledge. You will take ownership of your assigned sales targets by educating restaurant owners on our value proposition and generating opportunities for your sales partners. This will be done through 100% cold outreach.

You will be communicating with your peers and manager to create awareness with your prospects, demonstrating that you are a thought leader in the restaurant technology space, and helping restaurateurs improve their business by using the Social Axis platform. This position requires curiosity and drive to help small business owners with their daily challenges.

This is a 100% remote role. Reports to Sales Development Manager; No Direct Reports.

Social Axis is a unique tech startup in the restaurant space. We power branded online ordering systems for independent restaurants across India– via websites, Google, Instagram, and through branded iOS and Android apps – and we do it all for a reasonable monthly fee regardless of order volume. We operate this way because of our belief in being fair, sustainable, and equitable with our restaurant partners.

We also believe food lovers should have an amazing ordering experience for their delivery, without ripping off restaurants with high commission payments on every order.

Basic Requirements:

● Bachelor's Degree

● Comfortable with field work

● Strong proficiency in Spoken English, Hindi, Gujarati (Any Two)

● Comfortable with long working hours

● Able to handle stress and pressure

1st Month, You'll...

  • Progress through our New Hire Onboarding Experience
  • Developing an understanding of our target customer profile and qualifying criteria for opportunities
  • Learn how to utilize our internal sales tools and incorporate into the Social Axis sales process
  • Making phone calls and driving high volume, consultative discovery conversations with prospective clients to identify if they're a potential fit for Social Axis
  • Build close relationships with your sales partners to develop pipeline and strategy to saturate markets

3rd Month, You'll...

  • Become a fully ramped SDR while hitting your activity goals
  • Building a close relationship with your sales partners and bring in assisted revenue to Social Axis
  • Understand the importance of reports to evaluate your pipeline and KPIs

6th Month, You'll...

  • Hit and exceed your activity quota
  • Contribute to the growth of the team by sharing knowledge and participating when dealing with new team members
  • Develop thorough knowledge of the Social Axis product and become a trusted consultant to prospective restaurants.
