Job Summary:
The OPD Coordinator is responsible for managing the smooth functioning of outpatient services. The role involves coordinating between patients, doctors, nursing staff, and administrative teams to ensure efficient patient flow, timely appointments, and quality patient care experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the OPD.
- Coordinate patient registration, appointments, follow-ups, and referrals.
- Ensure timely consultation by monitoring patient flow and doctor schedules.
- Maintain and update patient records in hospital information systems.
- Act as the first point of contact for patient queries, complaints, and service support.
- Assist doctors and nursing staff in ensuring seamless OPD functioning.
- Monitor waiting times and implement measures to reduce delays.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical protocols, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with diagnostic, pharmacy, and billing departments for integrated services.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly OPD reports for management review.
- Support in staff scheduling, training, and performance monitoring within OPD.

- Ability to multitask and manage high patient volumes.
- Familiarity with hospital information systems (HIS/EMR).
- Organizational and time-management skills.

Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate in Hospital Administration / Healthcare Management / Any discipline (preferred background in healthcare).
- 2–5 years of experience in hospital operations, preferably in OPD management.
- Experience in handling patient relations and administrative functions.

Pay: ₹10, ₹15,000.00 per month
