About the Company

Hillson Footwear Pvt. Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of safety footwear, committed to quality, innovation, and worker safety. We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Team Leader to manage and supervise the Shoe Upper Stitching Department for our Safety Shoes production unit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the stitching team to ensure timely and quality completion of shoe uppers for safety shoes.
  • Plan daily production schedules and allocate work as per targets.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, minimizing rework and rejection.
  • Train and guide stitching operators to enhance their skills and productivity.
  • Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance for smooth operations.
  • Maintain discipline, safety, and housekeeping in the department.
  • Collaborate with the Quality and Production teams to resolve process issues.
  • Track productivity, output, and wastage, and prepare daily/weekly reports.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong technical knowledge of shoe upper stitching processes (preferably in safety shoes).
  • Ability to handle and lead a stitching team efficiently.
  • Good understanding of industrial sewing machines (flat, zig-zag, post-bed, etc.).
  • Eye for detail and commitment to quality.
  • Problem-solving, time management, and leadership skills.
