Job Description

Position: Relationship Officer DST Loan Against Property (LAP)

Department: Secured Loans / LAP

Location: Chennai, and Tamilnadu

Reports to: Sales Manager / Branch Manager

Role Objective

To generate leads, acquire new customers, and ensure successful onboarding for Loan Against Property (LAP) products. The DST Executive will work on-ground to promote LAP offerings, support documentation processes, and meet assigned disbursement targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate LAP business through cold calling, field visits, and networking.
  • Identify potential customers such as self-employed individuals, small businesses, and property owners in need of secured loans.
  • Meet and counsel customers to understand their financial needs and offer suitable LAP solutions.
  • Collect and verify customer documents in line with company KYC and credit policies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Credit, Operations) to ensure smooth login-to-disbursement process.
  • Maintain accurate MIS, lead tracker, and customer interaction records.
  • Achieve monthly sales and disbursement targets.
  • Participate in marketing activities, loan melas, and campaigns organized by the company.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education: Minimum HSC (12th pass); Graduate preferred.
  • Experience: 13 years in field sales; experience in LAP, Home Loans, or other secured products preferred.
  • Good understanding of LAP/Mortgage market, especially in the local area.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work in a target-driven environment.

Skills Required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sales-driven mindset with a focus on customer service.
  • Basic knowledge of financial products and documentation process.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Local language proficiency is a must.
