Quality Assistant

Key Responsibilities
· Inspections and Testing:
Conduct inspections and perform tests on products and processes at various stages of production to verify they meet established quality standards.
· Documentation and Reporting:
Accurately record and report inspection findings, test results, and data related to quality and workflow.
· Issue Resolution:
Assist in identifying, investigating, and resolving quality control problems by documenting deficiencies and collaborating with other departments to implement corrective actions.
· Procedure Support:
Help develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and processes, including assisting in audits and training.
· Data Analysis:
Collect and analyze quality control data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with standards.
· Equipment Maintenance:
Assist in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory and inspection equipment.
· Workspace Organization:
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection area or laboratory environment.
· Collaboration:
Work closely with production staff, quality control teams, and other departments to ensure consistent quality throughout the organization.
Qualifications and Skills
· Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is often a minimum requirement, with higher education (such as degrees in production or business management) beneficial for more advanced roles.
· Technical Skills:
Proficiency with hand inspection tools, and potentially coordinate measuring machines (CMM), is valuable.
· Organizational Skills:
Strong ability to organize and maintain records of quality control activities.
· Attention to Detail:
A keen eye for detail is crucial for accurately assessing products and processes.
· Communication Skills:
The ability to clearly communicate findings and collaborate with team members is essential.
· Problem-Solving:
Capable of assisting in the investigation and resolution of quality issues.
