About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Business Development Manager with 2–3 years of experience in the education sector. This role is with a digital marketing agency, where you will be responsible for pitching our digital marketing services to Universities, Colleges B-Schools, and Institutes, helping them onboard. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication, convincing, and relationship-building skills, along with a good understanding of digital marketing concepts to effectively present our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate leads through various channels (calls, referrals, events, digital platforms).
  • Pitch digital marketing services to Universities, Colleges, B-schools, and Institutes to onboard them as clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, institutions, and stakeholders.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales/enrollment targets.
  • Create presentations when required.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups to with clients.
  • Keep track of sales activities and prepare reports for management review.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or MBA (preferred in Business, Marketing, or related field).
  • Minimum 3+ years of proven experience in sales within the education sector.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing services, strategies, and platforms is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in a digital marketing agency is an added advantage.
  • Strong communication skills in fluent English (spoken & written).
  • Excellent convincing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and passionate about education & marketing.
  • Comfortable with client meetings, presentations, and online interactions.
