Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a robust, user-friendly desktop application for Windows OS kiosks.
  • Integrate features such as slot booking, menu ordering, selfie capture, and advertising.
  • Optimize the kiosk application for multitasking and high performance.
  • Implement a secure and interactive UI/UX design for kiosks.
  • Work closely with backend developers to ensure seamless communication with APIs.
  • Ensure the application is stable, secure, and capable of running 24/7.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade the application based on evolving requirements.
Requirements
  • Strong experience in C# and the .NET Framework/WPF for Windows application development.
  • Proven track record of building interactive kiosk applications.
  • Knowledge of Windows services, threading, and file system management.
  • Familiarity with hardware integration (e.g., touch screens, printers, cameras).
  • Experience with multimedia playback, ad display systems, and live feed integration.
  • Solid understanding of security protocols for kiosk environments.
  • Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with IoT or hardware communication protocols.
  • Knowledge of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and MVVM architecture.
  • Familiarity with video and image processing libraries.
  • Experience in deploying and maintaining kiosk applications in production.
