Sales & Revenue Generation
- Achieve banquet sales targets through active business development, lead conversion, and upselling opportunities.
- Drive synergy sales by cross-promoting banquet facilities to restaurant clientele and vice versa.
- Develop and execute tailored sales strategies for high-value events, premium clientele, and niche markets.
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Build relationships with corporate event planners, wedding coordinators, and premium social networks.
- Conduct professional client meetings and site inspections showcasing the premium facilities and service capabilities.
- Maintain a strong repeat client base through personalized service and follow-ups.
Event Planning & Coordination
- Liaise with the operations, culinary, and service teams to create customized event experiences in line with the brands premium positioning.
- Design creative menu proposals in coordination with the brand chef and General Manager-Operations while adhering to cost parameters and quality standards.
- Oversee event execution and act as the primary client liaison on the day of the function.
Brand & Market Development
- Represent the banquet brand at relevant exhibitions, networking events, and industry forums.
- Position the banquet and restaurant segment as the preferred choice for premium events in the local market.
- Work closely with the marketing team for digital campaigns, social media visibility, and influencer collaborations targeting the luxury and corporate segments.
Commercial & Reporting
- Negotiate rates and contracts within approved parameters, ensuring profitability.
- Ensure timely processing of deposits, contracts, and cancellation policies in coordination with the Finance department.
- Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales performance reports.
Preferred candidate profile
- 2 - 7 years of proven experience in banquet or high-end hospitality sales, with exposure to corporate and premium social segments handling 20,000 and above crowd.
- Strong understanding of the premium F&B and event market dynamics in the local area.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to curate bespoke event experiences for a discerning clientele.
- Strong operational coordination skills to ensure flawless delivery.
- Good in convincing.
