Role & responsibilities:

  • Allocate tasks to team based on their strengths, skill levels, and business priorities, ensuring clarity of expectations and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Maintain scorecard for productivity, quality and efficiency.
  • Establish the understanding of inter dependency between Mid & Back office accounting systems.
  • Establish and Maintain controls to ensure timely completion of tasks by team.
  • Act as the first point of resolution for process-related escalations, analyzing root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Identify challenges, process gaps and report them with proposed resolutions to line manager and or point of contact in office.
  • Collaborate with various regions, departments and management teams to ensure company objectives and client requirements are met.
  • Monitor team performance, recognize strengths and provide timely coaching and feedback to enhance skill sets and engagement.
  • Have monthly one on one with each team member to hear them, review performance, career aspirations and understand any of their help items.
  • Review and update process documents to maintain accuracy and relevance.
  • Conduct refreshers to upgrade team with changes in process.
  • Lead, assess progress of training and coaching of new recruits to accelerate their readiness.
  • Publish daily/weekly/monthly reports.
  • Represent the team in regular calls with respective office along with line manager and lead these calls, in absence of manger.
  • Assist line manager in implementing best practices, conducting performance review, feedback, development recommendations.
  • Strategically manage team capacity, leave schedules, and workload distribution to optimize operational efficiency.

  • Strong people skills, with distinctive ability to motivate and influence people.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and processes.
  • Skilled in conflict resolution, mentoring, delegation and team building.
  • Good spreadsheet skills and high-end capability in MIS Reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Good in Planning and Analysis.
  • Should be accountable and self-motivated.
