Job title: Analyst(Manager / Senior Manager) Function: Investments-Equities Location: Mumbai Manager: Head - Equities Role:
  • Conducts independent research for the sector/s, group of securities he is responsible for with forensic mindset.
  • Analyzes economic and industry forecasts, investment approaches and risk scenarios to assist fund managers.
  • Generates alpha idea through recommendations
  • Limits drawdown by recommending SELL.
  • Builds strong conviction to recommendations through evidence.
  • Keeps valuation models updated after every management call and event.
  • Uses technology platform to build strong tech driven investment decision making.
  • Stay away from news and crowd and make own sound judgement.
  • Not only generates ideas which are long only but also has a mindset to generate ideas for short.

  • Alpha generated in Model Portfolio
  • Hit ratio of recommendations
  • Communication (Internal as well as External)
  • Contribution in Technology initiative of the firm
Requirement for the role:
  • Strong on investing principles and investment frameworks
  • Strong fundamental understanding of sectors
  • Strong on bottoms up stock picking
  • Communicates investment views in a simple and honest manner
