Qualifications & Experience

*Bachelors or Masters degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

*12+ years of experience techno commercial and culinary product application role

*Knowledge of Savory products, Culinary, Marinades , coatings, emulsion, curries, Seasonings, wet products, QSRs, frozen foods is required

Position Summary

* Techno-Commercial – Culinary is responsible for driving the strategic and operational growth of the culinary category through a deep understanding of market trends, consumer insights, product applications, and customer needs. The role combines technical expertise in food formulation and flavor application with commercial acumen to deliver innovative and profitable seasoning, flavor, and culinary solutions.

*The position requires close collaboration with Sales, R&D, Marketing, and Application teams to identify business opportunities, manage projects, and deliver differentiated solutions across soups, sauces, snacks, noodles, ready meals, and processed foods.

Key Responsibilities

1. Category Strategy & Business Development

Develop and implement category strategies that align with business objectives and market opportunities.

Identify and qualify new business opportunities in the culinary segment through collaboration with Sales and Technical teams.

Support customer acquisition and retention by providing techno-commercial insights and category-driven recommendations.

Lead category growth initiatives, pricing strategies, and profitability improvement programs.

2. Techno-Commercial Leadership

Act as the bridge between technical and commercial functions, translating customer requirements into actionable R&D briefs.

Evaluate flavor and seasoning solutions from a technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and market fit perspective.

Support product presentations, application demos, and technical discussions with customers to drive solution adoption.

Monitor raw material trends, costing dynamics, and production capabilities to ensure competitive and efficient offerings.

3. Innovation & Portfolio Management

Partner with R&D and Culinary Application teams to develop consumer-preferred, regionally relevant flavor and seasoning solutions.

Manage the culinary category portfolio, ensuring it remains competitive, innovative, and aligned with market trends.

Lead cross-functional innovation projects to deliver differentiated culinary concepts that drive customer engagement.

Identify and champion opportunities for new product development (NPD) and value engineering (VE) initiatives.

4. New Prospection

Playing a proactive role in initiating new plans/concepts to offer consumer preferred Culinary Solutions and Application Prototypes.

Knowledge exchange with Flavourists, Creators, Sales, Evaluators and Marketing Team to promote regional Cuisine Concepts to customers
