API/POSTMAN - Test Engineer

We are looking for a skilled API/POSTMAN - Test Engineer with 3 to 4 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is based in Bangalore, and local candidates are preferred.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Design and develop test cases for API testing using POSTMAN.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Java or JavaScript.
  • Analyze and report defects found during testing.
  • Participate in defect cycle management and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Set up complex test environments and debug failures.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or MCA.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing, focusing on API testing and test automation.
  • Strong knowledge of software test processes, including STLC and planning requirement analysis.
  • Experience with test case template creation and writing, as well as defect cycle management.
  • Familiarity with microservices testing and API automation tools like POSTMAN.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Skills in scripting/programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or JMeter.
