Job Summary
The Zonal Sales Manager will lead all sales activities for Mining Trucks, Heavy Trucks and Heavy Commercial Vehicle within the assigned zone. This involves developing strategies, managing the dealer and channel partner network, engaging with large-scale mining, construction, and infrastructure clients, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve strategic targets
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement zonal sales plans to drive volume and market share for the mining and heavy-duty product portfolio.
Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, including major mining companies, construction firms, and large fleet owners.
Dealer & Channel Management: Manage and expand the dealer network, ensuring sales targets are met and dealer performance is optimized for the specialized product range.
Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team, ensuring continuous development and effective sales execution.
Market Intelligence: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies and inform product development.
Performance Reporting: Prepare and present detailed sales forecasts, performance reports, and budgets to senior management.
Technical Product Promotion: Collaborate with resellers and the service team to conduct product demonstrations and promotions, highlighting technical product advantages to potential user
Preferred candidate profile
Education: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) is required. An MBA in Marketing or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Min 12 years in Heavy Commercial Vehicle or Mining/Construction Equipment sales, with a proven track record of success in a sales management role.
