Wearing the hat of an Accounts Executive

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive with a strong background in accounting, taxation, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing and filing GST/Income Tax returns, and ensuring compliance with ROC requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is essential.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts, general ledger, and financial records.
  • Handle day-to-day accounting entries including accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
  • Prepare and file GST returns (monthly/quarterly/annual) and ensure timely compliance.
  • Assist in preparation and filing of Income Tax returns, TDS, advance tax, and other statutory requirements.
  • Support ROC compliance activities including preparation and submission of necessary forms/filings.
  • Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits by coordinating with auditors.
  • Assist in MIS reports, financial statements, and reconciliations for management review.
  • Assist in compliance with all applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
  • Use Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools effectively for financial analysis and reporting.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • The following are necessary to be successful in this role:
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles & Standards.
  • Hands-on experience in GST, Income Tax, TDS, and ROC compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas)
  • Good understanding of statutory compliance and regulatory frameworks.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to work under deadlines..

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting (
    B.Com
    ./M.Com.).
  • Professional certification (CA Inter/CS/ICWA) will be an added advantage.
  • Working experience with CA Firm will be an added advantage.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in accounting and compliance.
