Key Responsibilities:

  1. Procurement and Purchasing

  2. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.

  3. Issue purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
  4. Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to achieve cost savings.
  5. Maintain and update supplier information and purchase records.

  6. Vendor Management

  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new vendors.

  8. Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, delivery, and service.
  9. Resolve issues related to defective or delayed supplies.
  10. Conduct periodic supplier evaluations and audits.

  11. Inventory and Material Management

  12. Coordinate with the stores and production departments to ensure optimal stock levels.

  13. Track and forecast inventory requirements to prevent shortages or overstocking.
  14. Verify that all materials received meet the required specifications and quality standards.

  15. Documentation and Compliance

  16. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier agreements.

  17. Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
  18. Prepare reports on purchasing activities, price trends, and supplier performance.

  19. Coordination and Communication

  20. Collaborate with departments (production, finance, logistics, etc.) to understand purchasing needs.

  21. Liaise with finance for timely payments and budget adherence.
  22. Communicate purchase order status and expected delivery timelines to relevant teams.

  23. Cost and Budget Control

  24. Monitor purchase budgets and help in reducing procurement costs.

  25. Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost-effective purchasing.

  26. Continuous Improvement

  27. Stay updated with new suppliers, market trends, and procurement technologies.

  28. Suggest process improvements to enhance purchasing efficiency and supplier reliability.

Qualifications:

  • Business Administration or Commerce
  • 2 + years of experience in Purchase Department.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities..

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
