Job Overview

We are actively searching for a highly skilled and motivated Java Lead to join our fast-paced and dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will possess an extensive and proven background in advanced software development, specifically leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.

You will take on a pivotal leadership role, guiding and mentoring a team of developers through the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). Your primary goal will be to ensure the delivery of robust, high-quality solutions that directly address our critical business requirements. We are looking for a creative problem-solver with exceptional leadership capabilities and a strong passion for innovation and technology, ready to drive efficiency and performance across our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of Java developers, cultivating a collaborative, supportive, and high-performance engineering culture.

  • Architecture & Development: Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable and robust enterprise Java applications, strictly utilizing the Spring Boot framework and Microservices architecture.

  • Quality Assurance: Oversee thorough code reviews and strictly enforce adherence to engineering best practices and established coding standards.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner effectively with various cross-functional teams to gather, meticulously analyze requirements, and accurately translate them into comprehensive technical specifications.

  • Performance Optimization: Proactively identify and resolve complex performance bottlenecks to significantly enhance application efficiency, responsiveness, and scalability.

  • Technology Advancement: Stay fully abreast of the latest industry trends, cutting-edge technologies, and advancements to strategically incorporate relevant innovations into ongoing projects.

  • Project Management Input: Provide accurate and timely input on project estimations and timelines, ensuring the reliable and punctual delivery of high-quality technical solutions.

  • Process Improvement: Facilitate the continuous refinement and improvement of development processes and methodologies within the core engineering team.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Education: B.Tech/B.E. degree in Computer Science or an equivalent related field.

  • Core Experience: Between 6 and 12 years of progressive experience in Java development, with a deep, specialized focus on Spring Boot and Microservices implementation.

  • API Expertise: Strong fundamental understanding and practical experience with RESTful APIs and web services.

  • Database Proficiency: Proven proficiency in utilizing and managing various database technologies, encompassing both SQL and NoSQL environments.

  • Cloud Exposure: Practical experience working with major cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Problem-Solving: Excellent, demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capacity to execute tasks effectively, both independently and as a contributing team member.

  • Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective and clear interaction with both technical peers and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Methodology (Plus): Prior hands-on experience working within Agile development methodologies is considered a strong advantage.
