MRI-Software is seeking a Team Lead to join our team working on the MRI suite of products.

We are looking for someone who not only excels technically but also brings strong interpersonal and problem-solving capabilities:

  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
  • Comfortable collaborating with Product Owners to understand requirements and implement effective solutions
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in system design and architectural thinking

Technical Skills

The candidate must demonstrate strong proficiency in the following technologies and frameworks:

  • .NET-Framework and .NET 8 or later
  • ASP.NET (Web API)
  • C#
  • SQL-Server and T-SQL
  • JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and their implementation
  • Windows Services

Nice-to-Have Technical Skills

Experience with the following technologies and tools will be considered a strong asset:

  1. Microsoft Azure, including:

    a. Azure App Configuration

    b. Application Insights

    c. Azure Key Vault

  2. Authentication and Authorization:

    a. OAuth 2.0

    b. Single Sign-On (SSO)

  3. Blazor

  4. Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms
  5. RabbitMQ
  6. ORM-Frameworks like NHibernate and Entity Framework Core (EF Core)
  7. Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines)
  8. Microservices architecture
  9. JIRA (issue tracking and agile workflows)

Leadership & Team Management Skills

  • Proven experience in leading development teams and driving project success
  • Ability to manage project timelines, deliverables, and priorities
  • Proficient in ticket management and agile workflows
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and consistency across the team
  • Promote and enforce good coding practices across the team.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to junior developers and peers
  • Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture

Education:

  • Bachelor's/master's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or a related area
