Job Description: Regional Sales Manager -
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) for the Maharashtra region is a high-impact, results-driven leadership role responsible for achieving ambitious sales and revenue targets for A K Panels' shuttering plywood products.
The RSM will be tasked with driving market penetration, expanding the distribution network (dealers and distributors), managing key project sales, and leading the regional sales team.
This role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, deep market knowledge of the construction industry in Maharashtra (focusing on Nagpur, Vidarbha, and surrounding areas), and exceptional relationship-building skills with contractors, builders, and channel partners.
Core Objectives:
- Achieve assigned regional sales targets (volume and value) for all product brands.
- Establish and nurture a robust network of channel partners.
- Drive specification and usage of HESA/ISA/STHIRA products in major construction projects.
Key Responsibilities-
Sales & Revenue Achievement
Target Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive regional sales strategy to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals for the Maharashtra territory.
Market Mapping: Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, construction project leads, and untapped geographical areas within Maharashtra.
Pricing & Negotiations: Manage pricing strategies and negotiate high-value contracts with dealers, distributors, and bulk buyers in line with company policy.
Channel & Distribution Management
Network Expansion: Identify, onboard, and develop new, high-potential dealers and distributors to expand the brand's reach, especially in secondary markets around Nagpur.
Channel Performance: Monitor and evaluate the performance of the existing distribution network, ensuring optimum stock levels, timely secondary sales, and alignment with company policies.
Relationship Management: Foster strong, long-term relationships with key channel partners, influential contractors, and major real estate developers.
Financial & Administrative
Collection & Credit: Maintain strict control over accounts receivable (AR) and overdue payments. Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely collection of payments from channel partners.
Reporting: Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, weekly/monthly sales reports, and competitor activity analyses to the Head Office.
