Partner Engineer, Manager

We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead our Partner Engineering team focused on enterprise engagements. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of partner engineers and direct partner/enterprise/ engineers. You will play a crucial role in developing and implementing strategies for partner enablement, overseeing partner relationships, and driving innovation in our partner engineering processes.
Partner Engineer, Manager (Generative AI) Responsibilities:- Technical Strategy & Execution: Lead the team's technical work, driving the creation of proof-of-concept and architecting scalable, reliable AI solutions with partners, leveraging Meta AI models (e.g., Llama)
- Product Delivery & Adoption: Direct technical resources to ensure successful deployment and adoption of key solutions, including business function-specific benchmarks and evaluations
- Team Leadership & Growth: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of partner engineers. Manage recruitment, onboarding, and foster innovation, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing
- Partner Engagement & Enablement: Develop and implement strategic plans for partner engagement, enablement, and relationship management. Analyze partner requirements, provide recommendations, and drive improvements in integrations and deployments
- Model Optimization Oversight: Guide the team in model development, fine-tuning, evaluation, and optimization (e.g., RAG, quantization), ensuring high technical standards and alignment with evolving partner needs
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary technical point of contact, ensuring seamless integration and alignment between Meta's Product & Engineering and partner teams
- Tooling & Ecosystem Development: Drive the creation of technical resources, tools, and documentation to accelerate solution building and support partner deployments. Champion partner feedback within Meta's product development processes
- Performance Management: Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and success metrics for the team, ensuring continuous improvement in partner engineering processes and outcomes
- Executive Representation: Represent the Partner Engineering team in executive-level meetings and communications, advocating for partner needs and aligning initiatives with company goals
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- 10+ years of experience in partner engineering, technical program management, or related roles
- 5+ years of experience managing and leading technical teams
- 2+ years of hands-on experience leading the development and deployment of Generative AI solutions, including work in analytics platforms, AI/ML tools and infrastructure, AI/ML applications, or machine learning research
- Demonstrated practical understanding of AI/ML technologies, cloud platforms, and enterprise software integrations
- Direct experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) beyond just API interactions
- Experience communicating effectively, influencing, and collaborating across various levels of the organization
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex technical projects and partner relationships
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience architecting, deploying, and operating AI-powered systems in production environments with significant user or data scale (e.g., millions of users, large-scale data pipelines, or real-time inference systems)
- Prior experience in Go-to-Market strategy and working closely with business development and sales teams, especially in relation to large enterprises and Small and Medium Businesses in India
- Knowledge of data privacy, security, and compliance requirements for government and enterprise deployments
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools
