Job Description Paints & Coating: Candidates should have broad knowledge and contacts with Printing Ink and Paint Company details are narrated in the next sheet with the profile of the company. Coatings Applications: Additives that provide matting effects for wood, coil, and architectural coatings; corrosion protection for metal surfaces; desiccant or moisture adsorption protection for moisture-sensitive paints; and, to enhance media and paper quality in inkjet coatings. Chemical Process: Industrial applications such as surface modifiers for thin polymer films; molecular sieve adsorbents to remove moisture from natural gases; colloidal silica used as a binder, or for chemical inertness and heat resistance; and, processing aids for the production of bio-diesel
Key Responsibilities o Responsible for achieving sales targets for India o Deliver the sales volume and revenue forecasts along with the annual operating plan and own responsibility for the forecast accuracy o Direct and coordinate all operational and business activities to meet customer requirements and achieve and/or exceed profit plan and strategic planning goals and objectives. o Formulate & conceptualize Sales strategies that are aligned with the Supplier business strategy. o Represent Singhania & Sons at key industry meetings and conferences to promote Singhania & Sons products and develop the prospect pipeline. o Build and maintain executive-level customer relationships. o Drive commercial excellence and Value Selling initiatives. o Maintain a computerized business lead register and frequently update marketing status in it. o Prepare monthly sales reports and track self-performance. o Follow up on payments.
Required Skills: Strong Networking and Relationship-building skills – internal and external o Results-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment o Knowledge of Chemical industry trends o Negotiation Skills o Proven ability to gain and maintain lasting customer relationships o Proven ability to understand and sell a technical product portfolio o Well organized with strong customer orientation o Excellent listening and teamwork skills o Able to work independently with little guidance o Candidate must Identify and qualify new business leads and approach new customers from the above industries. o Field Work- Frequently travel to customer sites/plants and identify opportunities. o A strong leader and motivator with high energy and drive.
Education/Experience Candidate with a science background (B.Sc /B.Tech/ Specialized in Paint/Printing Ink) shall be preferred, MBA is desirable. Required Experience: o Minimum Total 10 years of industry experience o Commercial experience in sales/ marketing of specialty chemicals and customer-facing experience of 5 years is required.
Preference Background: (As sales rep for B2B or Worked in R&D), Worked with other Specialty Chemical Distributors i.e Shah TC, Prakash Dye Chem, Bhasin Associates, Pon Pure Chemicals, Bansal Trading, and others similar in the industry Close contact with R&D scientists worked with Foreign suppliers and understands their expectations. Target customers are Ester Industries, Uflex, DIC, Jubilant, Toyo Inks, Berger Paints, Asian Paints, Maharani Paints, Jubilant etc.
