Job Summary/Objective:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Tech SEO Specialist to lead technical initiatives that enhance our website's performance and health. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing website structure, managing crawl budgets, and implementing advanced technical SEO strategies to boost organic search rankings and overall website efficiency.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Conduct comprehensive technical SEO audits to identify areas for improvement and resolve issues impacting website health and performance.
• Optimize website structure, ensuring a logical hierarchy, proper URL management, and effective internal linking. Manage crawl budgets to maximize search engine efficiency and ensure key pages are indexed.
• Implement and maintain structured data and schema markup to improve search engine visibility and understanding. Enhance website speed and performance, ensuring compliance with Core Web Vitals and other performance benchmarks.
• Ensure mobile-first indexing through rigorous mobile optimization practices, addressing mobile-specific technical SEO challenges.
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues related to canonicalization, redirects, duplicate content, and other technical barriers. Regularly monitor and report on website health metrics, including crawl errors, indexation, and page load speed.
• Stay updated with the latest technical SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Expertise in crawlability, including optimizing crawl budgets and resolving crawl errors.
• Strong understanding of mobile optimization techniques and mobile-first indexing principles.
• Proficiency in speed optimization and web performance tools such as Google Page Speed Insights, Lighthouse, or GTmetrix.
• Hands-on experience with structured data, schema markup, and semantic SEO.
• Knowledge of website security management, including HTTPS implementation and addressing vulnerabilities. Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies as they relate to SEO.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
