Front Office Assistant

We are hiring a Front Office Assistant to support the day-to-day operations at GRB Hotel. The candidate will play an important role in assisting hotel management, handling administrative tasks, and providing basic guest support.
1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Guest Check-In & Check-Out
• Greet guests warmly upon arrival.
• Verify bookings, issue room keys, and explain hotel services.
• Process payments and handle check-out procedures.
Reservations
• Manage bookings via phone, email, or in-person.
• Update reservation systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds, or PMS software).
Customer Service
• Answer questions about hotel amenities, local attractions, or transportation.
• Handle complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
Administrative Tasks
• Answer phone calls and route them accordingly.
• Maintain records and handle billing or invoices.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
Security and Compliance
• Monitor guest access, ID verification, and emergency procedures.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and privacy standards.
Key Skills Needed
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Politeness and professionalism under pressure
• Multitasking and time management
• Computer literacy (MS Office, hotel software)
• Problem-solving abilities
• Language skills (a plus in international hotels)
Typical Work Hours
• Often shift-based: morning, evening, or night shifts
• Holiday - weekly one day
