Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Record Keeping & Data Entry:
  • Track and record financial transactions, update general ledgers and maintain organized financial files.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable:
  • Process vendor invoices and bills, manage client and supplier accounts, and handle payments.
  • Bank & Expense Management:
  • Reconcile bank statements, track and process expense claims, and manage petty cash transactions.
  • Financial Reporting:
  • Help prepare financial statements, reports, and budget forecasts.
  • Compliance & Reconciliation:
  • Ensure financial information is accurate, compliant with company policies and accounting standards, and identify discrepancies.
  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Perform administrative duties, such as managing mail, answering calls, and filing financial documents.

Skills Required

  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software like Tally, zoho.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management, good communication, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Financial Acumen:
  • Basic bookkeeping skills, familiarity with financial regulations, and an understanding of accounting procedures.

Work Environment

  • Assistant accountants typically work in an office setting, supporting senior accountants and the wider finance team.
  • They may work in various industries, including manufacturing, business services, and the charity sector.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹37,500.00 per month
