We are looking for a Quality and New Projects Manager to lead quality assurance, drive internal and external audits, and act as a key liaison for customer quality-related communications. The role involves maintaining quality standards across units, resolving customer complaints, and ensuring compliance with industry norms and certifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire quality management system (QMS) across all units – Camshafts, Components, and Foundry.
  • Ensure adherence to internal quality standards and regulatory/compliance requirements (ISO/TS/IATF, etc.).
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all customer quality-related communication, including feedback, complaints, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare and share detailed quality reports, CAPA documentation, and audit responses with customers.
  • Conduct internal audits and assist in external audits (customer audits, certification audits, etc.).
  • Coordinate with production, maintenance, and other departments to resolve quality issues and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Drive initiatives for process improvement, defect reduction, and first-time-right production.
  • Ensure calibration and maintenance of all quality inspection equipment and instruments.
  • Train and guide quality inspectors and team members on quality standards, tools, and procedures.
  • Monitor quality KPIs such as rejection rates, rework percentage, and customer returns.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for major quality concerns and document lessons learned.

Requirements

  • Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical or Production Engineering
  • Experience: 7+ years in quality assurance, preferably in automotive or auto component manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools.
  • Hands-on experience with ISO/IATF audits, customer complaint handling, and CAPA processes
  • Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and internal teams
  • Ability to manage and guide a team, set processes, and ensure accountability
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills using MS Office, Excel, and ERP systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹500, ₹550,000.00 per year
