POSTION:

Process Automation and Control Engineer

Location:
on site

  • office located at Vijayanagar, Bangalore.  

Roles & Responsibilities:

Based on the Process for the Edible Oil Refinery / Oleo chemical / Biodiesel Project being assigned, designing, and implementing the Process automation systems.

Collaborating with cross functional teams to identify automation needs and develop solutions.

Preparation of I/O List and Bill of material preparation for PLC and SCADA systems.

Developing the HMI screens based on the P&ID

Develop the Programing and configuring the PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) for the process automation based on the Cause-and-Effect diagrams, Control Logics & Process Descriptions.

Carry out the FAT and MCC / PLC panel inspection at Vendor's place.

Preparation of Automation manual and functional description.

Carry out the system installation on project site.

Communication to be established between main PLC and remote I/O station / third party systems.

I/O testing and Loop testing at the project site.

Coordinate with the Site team and carry out the pre-commissioning and commissioning activities along with Process commissioning Engineer.

Conduct Site Acceptance test and handover the project completion automation documents.

Qualification Experience & Knowledge:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineers / Instrument and Control Engineers from a reputed Institutes with good academic records.

to 6 years of experience in designing Process Automation.

Knowledge of SIEMENS and ALLEN BRADLY PLC programming and WINCC software development is a must.

Experience in commissioning support on automation in Edible Oil refineries, Oleochemical plants, Biodiesel plant shall have an added advantage.

Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
