Job Description – HR Coordinator (Talent Acquisition)

Department: Central Human Resources

Location: Symbiosis International University, SB Road, Pune

About the Role

The HR Coordinator – Talent Acquisition will play a key role in supporting the recruitment and staffing initiatives for Symbiosis International University and its constituent institutes. The role involves end-to-end coordination of the hiring process, candidate engagement, documentation management, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth recruitment operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, scheduling interviews, and onboarding formalities.
  • Work closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to understand manpower requirements and ensure timely hiring.
  • Source potential candidates through platforms such as LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, internal talent pools, and referrals.
  • Conduct initial screening to assess candidate suitability and alignment with role requirements.
  • Manage interview scheduling, follow-ups, candidate communication, and feedback tracking.
  • Maintain recruitment MIS, dashboards, and daily/weekly hiring reports.
  • Assist in job postings, candidate database management, and offer letter preparation.
  • Coordinate onboarding documentation, verification processes, and joining formalities.
  • Ensure effective candidate engagement to deliver a positive candidate experience.
  • Support HR operational activities related to talent acquisition and campus recruiting when required.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • 1–4 years of experience in talent acquisition / recruitment coordination (preferred experience in education or corporate hiring).
  • Strong skills in sourcing, screening, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), HRMS tools, and recruitment platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive approach to HR operations.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's in Human Resources / Business Administration / Management or equivalent.
