We're seeking a proactive Import & Export Assistant to support our financial function and help customers optimize their processes. As an Import & Export Assistant, you'll play a key role in managing import and export operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing excellent customer service.

*Key Responsibilities:*

- *Import & Export Documentation:*

- Prepare and execute shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin

- Ensure compliance with regulations, laws, and customer requirements

- *Logistics and Coordination:*

- Book transportation for standard orders, documents, and manuals

- Coordinate with logistics providers, customs house agents, shipping lines, and airlines

- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery

- *Invoicing and Payment:*

- Prepare and process invoices for standard orders

- Ensure accurate and timely payment from customers

- *Freight Management:*

- Approve freight invoices and file documents

- Negotiate with logistics providers to optimize freight costs

*Requirements:*

- *Education:* Graduate degree in any discipline; diploma in foreign trade is an added advantage

- *Experience:* 1-2 years of experience in import-export operations, logistics, or a related field

- *Skills:*

- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

- Attention to detail and analytical skills

- *Certifications:* Knowledge of Incoterms, customs regulations, and logistics procedures is desirable
