We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Software Telesales Executive to join our Sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, making outbound calls (cold and warm), nurturing prospects, and closing sales for our software products/services. This role requires a strong understanding of the software industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

The primary duties of the Software Telesales Executive include:

  • Sales Generation & Target Achievement:

  • Proactively make a high volume of outbound calls (cold calling) to potential clients to introduce and sell the company's software products and services.

  • Receive and manage inbound inquiries, converting them into sales opportunities.
  • Consistently meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales quotas and KPIs.
  • Negotiate and close deals over the phone, processing sales transactions accurately.

  • Lead Management & Relationship Building:

  • Generate new leads through research and cold-calling and qualify them as potential customers.

  • Maintain and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with prospects and existing customers to encourage repeat business and cross/upselling.
  • Follow up on leads and sales activity in a timely and professional manner.

  • Product Expertise & Consultative Selling:

  • Develop a deep and comprehensive understanding of the company's software products, features, benefits, and pricing structures.

  • Conduct effective needs analysis by actively listening to customers' pain points and requirements.
  • Tailor sales pitches and offer suitable software solutions based on the customer's needs and business context.
  • Be able to explain technical concepts of the software in an easily understandable way.

  • Administration & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions, sales activities, and details in the CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).

  • Prepare and present timely sales reports, forecasts, and performance reviews to management.
  • Provide customer feedback to product and marketing teams to help inform future strategies.

  • Customer Service & Issue Resolution:

  • Handle and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and objections in a courteous and professional manner to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Liaise with other departments (like Support or Product) when necessary to resolve complex customer issues promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Telesales Executive, Sales Representative, or in a similar sales role, preferably within the software, IT, or technology industry.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
  • Core Skills:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and target-driven environment.
  • Persistence, resilience, and the ability to professionally handle rejection.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
