Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative content ideas aligned with the companys objectives and target audience.
  • Write and edit compelling, original, and SEO-friendly content for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, newsletters, and other digital platforms.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to produce content that supports campaigns and brand messaging.
  • Develop and execute content strategies to drive website traffic and enhance search engine rankings.
  • Ensure content is consistent in tone, style, and quality while adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance, adjusting strategies to maximize results.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (preferred).
  • 34 years of proven experience in content writing, preferably within a software house or digital agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles, keyword research, and content optimization techniques.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) and SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).

Skills & Competencies

  • In-depth SEO knowledge, including on-page, off-page, and technical SEO basics.
  • Strong keyword research, analysis, and implementation skills.
  • Familiarity with search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  • Ability to create content strategies that align with SEO goals.
  • Creative thinking and storytelling skills for digital audiences.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Basic HTML and website publishing knowledge (advantage).
