Job Summary

The Quality Engineer will ensure adherence to quality standards across all stages of air pollution control equipment manufacturing, from raw material inspection to fabrication, assembly, and final dispatch. The role requires close coordination with design, production, vendors, and clients to maintain compliance with customer specifications, statutory requirements, and Bhaviplast's internal benchmarks for zero-defect manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities – Quality (QA/QC)

• Inspect and verify incoming raw materials (FRP, PP, HDPE sheets, steel, motors, blowers, pumps, gaskets, fasteners,and similar etc.) against approved specifications.
• Monitor in-process fabrication, welding, lamination, lining, and assembly of ducting, chimneys, scrubbers, blowers, and structural equipment.
• Conduct stage-wise and final inspection before dispatch, ensuring compliance with client requirements and drawings.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation including Inspection Reports (IR), Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), Calibration Records, and Test Certificates.
• Coordinate with production teams, vendors, clients, consultants, and third-party inspectors for quality checks and approvals.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards, client specifications, and statutory regulations.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
• Train shop-floor teams on SOPs, inspection methods, and quality awareness.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize rework, rejection, and material wastage.
• Maintain calibration of measuring instruments and ensure proper usage.
• Support customer audits and handle client complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Chemical, or Production Engineering.
• Additional certification in Quality Management / ISO 9001 / NDT (preferred).

Experience:

• Quality Engineer (Execution Level): 2–5 years of QA/QC experience in fabrication / FRP-PP/HDPE equipment manufacturing / EPC industry.
• Quality In-Charge / Manager (Supervisory Level): 6–10+ years of experience in quality management, including client/third-party inspections and handling a team.

Industry Exposure:

• Experience in air pollution control equipment, ducting, chimneys, scrubbers, blowers, tanks, or chemical process equipment (preferred).
• Familiarity with ISO standards, client audits, and statutory requirements.

Schedule

• Day shift :9.15am to 6.30pm
• Monday to Saturday
• Occasional extended hours during project deadlines
