Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive with extensive experience in the railway industry. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, cultivate strong client and stakeholder relationships, and drive consistent revenue growth. This position demands a strategic thinker capable of navigating complex regulatory frameworks and leveraging industry insights to deliver innovative, value-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities within the railway sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government bodies, suppliers, and key clients.
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts to meet and exceed revenue objectives.
- Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Track industry developments, policies, and competitor activities to guide business strategies.
- Prepare, present, and deliver business proposals, reports, and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 4–5 years of proven experience in business development within the railway industry.
- In-depth knowledge of railway regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales and revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to travel across India as required.
