JOB PURPOSE

Ensure business continuity of airport operations by end to end processing of PVC (Police Verification Certificate) applications of all the members of the airport community for smooth conduct of airport operations.

Contribute and ensure effective implementation of software systems for Prepaid Taxi Counters, Fuel Indent Issue systems and Airport Entry Passes as per the guidelines and  timely maintenance of such systems along with data updating so as to reduce risks and limit exposure to liability. 

In this regard to liaise with various Govt. / Regulatory agencies like State Intelligence department, Intelligence Bureau, SB officials, Cyberabad and Hyderabad Police Commissionerates, BCAS,  local police and police officials of other states etc.

This role requires to contribute to the planning & execution of all S&C initiatives like ASQ drive, Security week, VIP movements  etc

Ensure timely receipt of PVCs for the entire RGIA airport community  as well as GHIAL employees in coordination with Govt. / Regulatory agencies like State Intelligence department, Intelligence Bureau, SB officials, Cyberabad and Hyderabad Police Commissionerate,  Local/district Police and police officials of other states etc.

Number / percentage compliance

Ensure timely police clearance of Company/Directors of concessionaires in close coordination and liaison with all Govt. departments concerned.

Ensure 100% re-verification of police certificates obtained by the employees from such issuing authorities without delay by strictly adhering to BCAS guidelines.

To assist Head-Security in all correspondences with various Govt. agencies in Union and State Govt. including preparation of replies and reports to MoCA, BCAS and CISF.

Timely collation of facts and figures and ensure prompt replies to correspondences made by Govt. agencies.

To ensure timely compilation of details for preparing replies to Parliament Questions.

Liaise with all operational departments on day to day operational issues.

To take part in exercises to test the efficacy of various contingency plans such as Anti-Hijacking Contingency Plan, Counter Terrorist Contingency Plan, Aerodrome Emergency Plan.

Attend all important VIP movements and ensure coordination with CISF, Local Police, State Protocol department and all internal GHIAL departments for smooth movement.

Assist Head Security, GM/AGM Security in supervising the functioning of various branches of Security & Control and attend such other matters as may be assigned by them from time to time.

Follow up of  the PVC applications  of  all the members of the 8,000 strong airport community.

Follow up for obtaining police verification for all the concessionaries working in the security hold area from time to time numbering more than 50.

Maintenance and updatation of data of 170 prepaid cabs.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

1. Graduate in any discipline.
2. Work Experience of 10+ years in Govt. organization with excellent networking skills.
3. Should possess good knowledge in software application development.
