Project Goals & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the full-cycle development and deployment of new features, focusing on the following core requirements:

  1. Odoo E-Commerce Customization (Front-End & UX)

  2. Customizable Front-End Pages: Develop and implement custom QWeb templates, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create a modern, high-conversion, and branded e-commerce theme.

  3. Intuitive Product Management: Enhance the Odoo backend user interface for seamless product creation, including bulk editing and simplified workflow management.

  4. Product and Media Management

Product Catalog Implementation: Configure and manage the product catalog structure, variants, attributes, and categories within Odoo to support efficient scaling.

  • Optimized Media Uploads: Customize the product form to include an optimized and user-friendly image upload and gallery management system for high-volume product media.

  • AI Agent Development (Core Requirement)

  • Design & Development: Build and integrate a custom AI Agent capable of outbound communication to customers. This will involve working with Odoo's API and connecting to a third-party Conversational AI/Voice platform.

  • Product Recommendation Engine: Develop a system that analyzes customer purchase history (data from Odoo's CRM/Sales modules) to generate a personalized list of new product recommendations.
  • Outbound Calling Integration (VoIP): Connect the AI Agent to a Voice over IP (VoIP) system to automatically call customers, deliver the personalized product recommendations in a natural-sounding voice, and record/log the call outcome back into Odoo CRM.
  • Feedback Loop: Ensure the AI agent continuously learns from customer interactions and call success rates to refine its recommendation algorithms and script.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Senior-Level Odoo Development (4+ years): Deep expertise in Odoo architecture, custom module creation (Python), and ORM.
  • Full-Stack Proficiency: Strong command of Python (for Odoo backend/logic) and front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including Odoo's OWL and QWeb).
  • E-Commerce/UX: Proven experience developing and customizing the Odoo E-commerce module, including theme creation and UX optimization.
  • AI/ML Integration: Demonstrable experience working with AI services (e.g., OpenAI, Google Cloud AI, or a specialized LLM provider) and integrating them via API.
  • Conversational AI / VoIP: Crucial experience with integrating Voice over IP (VoIP) or telephony services (like Twilio, Asterisk, or dedicated call platforms) with an application.
  • Database: Expert knowledge of PostgreSQL.
  • System Integration: Experience using Odoo's API (XML-RPC/JSON-RPC) to exchange data with external services.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP) for voice-to-text and text-to-voice applications.
  • Familiarity with Odoo's native CRM/Marketing Automation modules.
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering for fine-tuning LLM agents for specific sales tasks.
