for the Industrial customers' needs for MROP products and services through our Innovative Pumping Solutions, Metal Working, Supply Chain Services and Service Centers.

Under general supervision by the Technical Manager, this employee will provide daily support to the direct sales force, representatives, and customers in the areas of API-610 Pumps and other pump applications, proposal development and order processing/management. Specifically, this includes review of API-610 pump specifications, proposal preparation, providing technical support to customers, interfacing with vendors, order processing and expediting.

Key Skills and Competencies of
Instrumentation Engineer
include, but are not limited to:

·      Preparation of Instrumentation deliverables like: Instrument List, I/O list, Instrument datasheets, P&ID, Instrument Cable list, Equipment List, Instrument Wiring, Control documents, Cable block diagram and other related documents for multiple projects

·      Project Engineering Activities and Preparation of Deliverables

·      Instrument Wiring diagrams, Instrument Layout, Instrument Hook-up diagram, Equipment and utility list, other related documents.

·      JB Drawing, JB Wiring diagram, tag list etc

·      Instrument Datasheets (ISA, ISF format- SPI Intools external editor).

·      Liaise with suppliers for collecting the quotation as well as finalizing the deal with suppliers for control & instrumentation related accessories

·      Attend Internal KOM meetings with Dubai & USA Sales/Applications

·      Attend Customer KOM

·      Attend Internal KOM with the relevant Project Manager in the factory in USA and work close with them to ensure proper support is provided to deliver the project on time, on budget and as per customer specifications/documentation.

·      Support the company initiative to source low-cost items within the pump skids to enhance the job margin after order, this includes finding sources for high quality/low-cost control & instrumentation accessories

·      Develop Document Templates and standard document pack to be used in certain contracts to reduce engagement of the factory Engineering/PM in documents preparation to reduce the job cost charged by the factory for engineering reviews of documentation.

·      Build relationships with Key End User and EPC Customers to ensure repeated business.

·      Operate within budget constraints of the project and improve cost.

·      Attend weekly orders and proposal review sales meetings in the Dubai Office.

·      Manage Travel and Expenses within budget

Qualifications of the
Instrumentation Engineer
include, but are not limited to:

• Maximum 8 years and minimum 3-5 years of experience in relevant field as Instrument Design Engineer
• Team oriented, Self-starter and highly motivated
• Strong PC skills with Windows XP and Microsoft Office programs
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks
• Demonstrate ability to establish relationships with customer base
• Excellent communication skills
• Good work ethic and positive attitude
