Overview: The role of Testing is crucial within our organization as it is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and services. Testing plays a pivotal role in identifying and resolving any issues with our software applications, thereby ensuring a seamless customer experience. The incumbent will be part of a dynamic team that collaborates with various stakeholders to uphold the highest quality standards.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing.
  • Provide timely and meaningful feedback on the software's usability and functionality.
  • Monitor debugging process results.
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
  • Analyze the specifications to the systems or applications under test.
  • Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a software tester or similar role.
  • Thorough understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Life Cycle.
  • Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
  • Ability to document and track defects in various tracking tools.
  • Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Certifications such as ISTQB will be a plus.
  • Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
