About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced
Senior Tech Lead
to drive the technical direction of our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership experience, and excellent communication skills to manage teams, engage with clients, and ensure high-quality, scalable software solutions. Expertise in cloud technologies and AI API integrations is critical for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Architecture:

• Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of highly scalable, robust, and performant software systems and microservices.
• Define technical standards, best practices, and architectural patterns across development teams.
• Conduct code reviews, identify technical debt, and drive initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Mentor senior and junior engineers, fostering growth and development.

Project & Delivery Ownership:

• Collaborate with Product and Project Managers to translate business requirements into actionable technical plans.
• Oversee end-to-end technical delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to quality, performance, and security standards.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks to ensure smooth project execution.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Serve as a primary technical point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in pre-sales activities, technical presentations, and solution discussions.

Cloud Infrastructure & Services:

• Design, implement, and optimize solutions using cloud technologies, specifically AWS and GCP.
• Hands-on experience with cloud media services for real-time video processing and streaming.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization for cost-efficiency and performance.

AI Tool Integration:

• Lead integration of AI tools via APIs, including platforms like Google Gemini and OpenAI.
• Implement advanced AI capabilities into products and services.

Team Development & Culture:

• Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Conduct technical interviews and participate in hiring to build a strong engineering team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10 years of software development experience, with substantial experience in a leadership or architect role.
• Strong coding skills in modern programming languages (e.g., PHP, Python).
• Expertise in designing applications using MVC or relevant architectural patterns.
• Solid knowledge of SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra) databases.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP cloud services.
• Experience with cloud video processing and streaming services (AWS Elemental MediaLive or equivalent).
• Strong experience in API integration with AI tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills:

• AWS or GCP certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with big data technologies (Apache Spark, Hadoop).
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Contributions to open-source projects or a strong public technical presence.
