1. Credit Appraisal & Underwriting:

  • Evaluate loan applications based on creditworthiness, financials, income proofs, bank statements, GST returns, bureau reports (CIBIL, CRIF), etc.

  • Perform detailed analysis of:

  • Personal Loan applicants Salary slips, employer background, repayment history.

  • Business Loan applicants – Financial statements, turnover, cash flow, ITRs.

  • Invoice Discounting – Verification of invoices, buyer credibility, and ledger validations.

  • Conduct personal discussions (PDs) with borrowers where required.

2. Policy Adherence & Risk Assessment:

  • Ensure loan proposals meet internal credit policy and risk framework.
  • Analyze deviation requests and approve within authority matrix or escalate as per process.
  • Identify early warning signals and mitigate potential credit risks.

3. Coordination with Sales & Operations:

  • Work closely with Relationship Managers/Sales team for clarifications, document follow-up, and timely file processing.
  • Support field teams with guidance on eligibility and product fitment.
  • Coordinate with legal, technical, and operations teams for case closures.

4. Documentation & Decision Making:

  • Ensure all required documents are in place before approval.
  • Make decisions or recommend cases based on authority limits.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and completeness in Loan Management System (LMS).

5. Monitoring & Review:

  • Review portfolio performance in terms of delinquencies and bounce rates.
  • Recommend improvements in underwriting models, scorecards, or risk matrices.
  • Participate in internal audits and risk evaluations.
